Bodum® Java 8-Cup French Press

The plunger assembly comes apart completely, which makes cleaning way less annoying than my old press. Eight cups is plenty for my morning routine, and the coffee stays hot while I sip through my first mug.

The mesh filter handles the coarse grounds perfectly, and the plunger slides down smoothly without any gritty bits sneaking into my cup. I've had pricier presses that jammed up on me, so this one's been a pleasant surprise for the price.

The glass carafe felt sturdy when I took it out of the box, and the metal frame gives it a solid grip even when my hands are wet. Brewed a full eight cups this morning and the coffee stayed hot enough for a second pour about twenty minutes later. Works exactly as it should for the price.
