Rosa centifolia (roses) are one of hundreds of shrubs in the Rosacae family. The plants are native to North America and Asia as well as Europe and northwest Africa. Roses symbolize beauty, purity and romance. The potent fragrance of roses is prized by soap makers, perfumers and cosmetic chemists alike. However, roses boast more than just a beautiful smell. Roses have high antioxidant components with active compounds like flavonoids, anthocyanins and Vitamin C making them a perfect ingredient for skin care, hair formulas, tea blends and various confections.

We suggest using our organic rose buds and petals for infused oils, rose water, potpourri, herbal tisanes, baked goods and more! The flavor of rose petals and buds is mild, floral and lightly sweet.

Christopher L. ★★★★★

The petals arrived perfectly intact, no crushed powder at the bottom of the bag. I threw a generous handful into my evening tea and the soft, honeyed scent lingered for a good twenty minutes. It's become a calming ritual I actually look forward to.

Ella J. ★★★★★

The scent is delicate and unmistakably real rose, not perfumey at all, and a small pinch in my evening tea is enough to help me wind down. The loose petals are whole and clean, which makes the whole ritual feel more special than I expected.

Richard ★★★★★

The petals arrived intact and beautifully colored, not crushed to dust like other bags I've tried. I've been sprinkling them into my evening tea for a week now and the gentle floral aroma is exactly what I needed to wind down.
