Steeped it this morning instead of my usual coffee and the sweetness caught me off guard, in a good way. The energy came on smooth and steady, no jitters, and it lasted well into the afternoon. I'll definitely be adding a few more boxes to my next order.
The first steep tastes surprisingly smooth and lightly sweet, nothing like the bitterness I get from yerba mate. I've been swapping my morning coffee for this and the focus lasts well past lunch without the jitters.
I was skeptical about the sweetness claim, but this really is mellow for a caffeinated tea — no bitterness even after five minutes of steeping. The energy boost from the holly leaf is smooth and doesn't leave me jittery like coffee does. Definitely my new afternoon focus ritual.
