Didn't expect the medium dark roast to pull such a thick crema on my little stovetop moka pot. The beans smell almost chocolatey when I grind them, and the shot stays rich without turning bitter. Already halfway through the bag.

The bundle split between the two roast levels is what sold me — I keep the medium for my morning drip and save the darker one for weekend espresso. Both pull a thick, syrupy shot with almost no bitterness at the tail end.

I've been pulling shots with the darker of the two blends and it's got that thick, syrupy body you'd expect from a proper Italian espresso. The bundle is a nice way to try both roasts without committing to a full bag of each.
